Damn the Heroes have been busy! Having recently remixed MJ Cole, Citizen Cope and Mosaic, dropped three singles on Wah Wah 45's under their 'PTH Projects' alias collaborating with double BBC Jazz Award winner Liane Carroll, the end of 2006 saw them release their globally critically acclaimed 'Realise' EP on our very own MTW label. Earning them two nominations at Gilles Peterson's 'Worldwide Awards', followed by jaw dropping performances at the Big Chill Festival, KoKo, Cargo, YoYo and the Jazz Cafe, they also recorded a session for Gilles’ show live from Radio One's Maida Vale studios. Get ready for an onslaught of remixes and releases over the coming months. Forthcoming remixes include Fried (RCA), Wallis Bird (Island/Universal), Upp Hye (Tru Thoughts) and production work on three tracks for NYC based Monday Michiru's wonderful 'Alternative Routes' LP (ArtistShare). They've also broadcasted DJ mixes for Kiss FM, Radio One, Compost Radio, Ibiza Global Radio and Philly's DJ Junior Recordbreakin' Show, not to mention releasing their exclusive mix for Addict Clothing mix CD series. Their 'All This Time' track also features on the forthcoming 'Tranquil' compilation on Azuli Records and they have just completed their debut album featuring guest vocals from Liane Carroll, Pete Simpson, Jono McCleery, Laura Vane, Bridgette Amofah and Lucy Kitchen.
